Cochin airport parking fees

Cochin airport have plenty of parking spaces which allow short term and long term parking. The covered area can accommodate around 1,400 cars.

Pre booking is not required. The payment is need to be paid by cash while entering the parking.

Short term parking charges for 4 hours

1.	Car	Rs 80.00
2.	Motor cycle	Rs 15.00
3.	Bus	Rs 90.00

Long term parking charges for 24 hours

1.	Car	Rs 250.00
2.	Bus	Rs 500.00

How to reach Munnar from Cochin airport

By taxi

Taxis from Cochin airport is available round the clock and will travel straight to Munnar via Perumbavoor, Kothamangalam and Adimali. The road conditions are decent and road traffic is less in early morning and late night. There are decent restaurants on the way in Perumbavoor and Kothamangalam. Past Adimali you will be traveling through forest and hilly areas but the road is usually safe and moderate busy with travelers.

The total distance is around 105 km and it will take 3:30 hours to reach Munnar.

By bus

Munnar is well connected by the Government operated bus services and private buses to major bus stations. There is no direct bus service from Cochin airport to Munnar. But can get connection buses to Munnar as below

Option 1
1) Get a bus from Cochin Airport to Angamaly KSRTC bus station.
2) From Angamaly KSRTC bus station get a bus to Kothamangalam.
3) From Kothamangalam get a bus to Munnar.

Option 2
1) Get a bus from Cochin Airport to Aluva KSRTC or Private bus station.
2) From Aluva KSRTC or Private bus station get a bus to Munnar.

There are frequent buses with in an interval of 30-45 minutes during the day time from 6 am to 6 pm. After 6 pm buses are less frequent and may need to try short distance buses or need to change routes.

The total distance is around 105 km and it will take 5 to 7 hours to reach Munnar by bus, including the waiting time in between.
